Artic Consulting has an immediate opening for Senior Consultant, Azure Application Developer to join our team. This is a full-time, direct-hire, permanent position.
The Sr. Application Developer role provides an opportunity to work on an enterprise-level engine across various teams to make an immediate impact within a cutting-edge technology organization.
Description and Responsibilities
Take on priorities and provide commitments to the scheduled delivery of software and solutions for Artic clients focusing on Microsoft Azure solutions.
Participate in detailed design sessions to create solutions including external integration and contractual details with external partners
Communicate innovative ideas to contribute to success for stakeholders or the organization
Research effectively and perform technical spikes when a task is outside experience
Take advantage of opportunities to learn new skills through hands-on experience
Seek ways to increase the level of responsibility
Awareness and communication of potential conflicts and risks
Ability to identify probable causes of an issue and make suggestions for resolution
Raise issues appropriately to management
Assist in creation and development of proposals and statements of work in collaboration with Business Development, PM, and other departments
Required Qualifications
7+ years of software development experience building a product or service
Experience in architecting, building and deploying end-to-end Azure solutions.
Expert in building and deploying API's withing an Azure environment
Expert in Azure DevOps and deployment pipelines
Expert in the Microsoft Tech Stack including M365
Solid experience with build systems
Comfortable with front-end development
Expertise with SQL queries and SQL Azure (Synapse)
Strong debugging skills
Technical excellence and commitment to quality
Ability to self-start and work independently.
Excellent communication skills
Prior experience of mentoring and guiding Jr. team members
Professional Skills
Prior consulting experience strongly preferred
Excellent thought leadership and management skills
Strong sense of ownership, teaming attitude, and ability work across a distributed organization
Proven ability to build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
